ABOUT  ME –  The Person

* I dance spontaneously, when no one is watching!  (but only when a good song is on the radio)

* I eat a bag of chips from the vending machine almost every day. Either ‘Classic Lays’ or ‘Hickory Sticks’ ( the vending machine is for portion control )

* I used to model professionally, when I was a teen, strangely.. I booked a lot of Italian Wedding Catalogs.. at age 14-16! So don’t feel bad ladies.. no wonder the models look so flawless! ;)

* I drive fast!  (normally rocking out to music while driving)

* I religiously watch: Grey’s Anatomy, Big Brother, Law & Order and about a million other shows

*  I’m a military child, my father worked for the Canadian Army, and we lived in Lahr, Germany ( where I was born) and emigrated to Canada in 1994.                                                                   Picture taken by Willow Christine Photography

* I make great Kraft Dinner… and almost nothing else! hehe

*  I read. A LOT!

ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY – Me the Photographer

My boyfriend Brian gave me my first camera in 2007, and I have been playing ever since. At first, it was family and friends, and when they finally got sick of me, I turned to inanimate objects.

*  Flowers

*  Landscapes

* Buildings

Anything and everything.

In the summer of 2009 I got serious.  I started reading every book I could get my hands on, quizzing other photographers, and taking A LOT of classes.  And after all of that… I took more classes.  : )

Currently, I shoot weddings.  I love being part of that emotional day, watching two people tie themselves to each other for eternity… I get a high off  it.  I feed on the love!  Getting that perfect shot.  Freezing that moment in time… it’s amazing.

Knowing that someone will cherish that memory that I created 5, 10, 50 years later.. it drives me!

I like to think of my style as young, hip and innovative.  I have an eye for the little things, and will make sure every detail of your wedding is captured.  Flowers, Rings, Table Settings, I’ll get it all  : D
